Privacy Policy

At Cine GB, protecting your personal data is not a checkbox exercise. It is a promise we take seriously because we know how much trust you place in us when you sign up for an IPTV subscription or become an IPTV reseller through our platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have as a Cine GB customer anywhere in the UK, Ireland, Scotland, Netherlands, Luxembourg, or the wider European market.

We wrote this in plain English rather than legalese, because privacy policies should be readable. If anything below is unclear, message us on WhatsApp and a real person will explain it to you properly.

Who we are

Cine GB is an independent OTT and IPTV service provider based in the United Kingdom. Our head office is at Office 1245, 85 Dunstall Hill, Wolverhampton. We serve subscribers and IPTV resellers across Europe with streaming subscriptions, credit based reseller panels, and free trial access. You can learn more about who we are on our About page.

For the purposes of the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR, Cine GB is the data controller of the personal data you share with us.

What information we collect

We only collect the information we genuinely need to provide our IPTV service and support you properly. That includes:

Account information. Your name, email address, WhatsApp number, and the country you are streaming from. This is what lets us activate your subscription, verify your payment, and send device setup instructions.

Payment information. When you pay by bank transfer, PayPal, card, or crypto, the payment provider processes the transaction. We only see confirmation that the payment was received, along with your name and the amount. We never store your full card number, bank account, or crypto wallet on our servers.

Device information. For app support, we may need to know your device type (Firestick, Smart TV, Windows, MAG, etc), and in the case of Samsung and LG TVs, your MAC address so we can activate the playlist against your specific TV.

Support conversations. Your WhatsApp messages, emails, and any screenshots you send us during support requests. These are stored so we can help you faster next time you contact us.

Usage information. Basic technical logs including your IP address at the time of streaming, the server region you connected to, and general connection quality data. This helps us monitor uptime and troubleshoot buffering complaints.

Reseller information. If you use our reseller panel, we also store the customer lines you create, your credit balance, and your sub reseller accounts.

How we use your information

Your data is used for the following purposes:

  • Activating and maintaining your Cine GB IPTV subscription or reseller panel
  • Providing support through WhatsApp, email, and our IPTV support centre
  • Sending you occasional service updates such as scheduled maintenance notices or channel additions
  • Processing payments and issuing invoices in GBP or EUR
  • Preventing fraud, abuse, and unauthorised access to our service
  • Improving the quality of our streams, apps, and reseller panel

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not run advertising campaigns based on your personal information. We do not share your details with marketing companies. Full stop.

Who we share data with

We only share your personal data with a small number of trusted parties, and only when it is genuinely needed to run the service:

  • Payment processors such as PayPal and our UK bank, to process your payment
  • Hosting and CDN providers who run the servers your streams are delivered from
  • App partners including Ora IPTV Player and our custom Cine GBEU Windows Player and Cine GB APK, but only when you log into those apps
  • Authorities, only when required by a valid UK court order or an equivalent legal request under UK GDPR

We choose our partners carefully and require them to protect your data to the same standard we do.

How long we keep your data

We retain your personal data only for as long as it is needed:

  • Active subscribers and resellers: for the duration of your subscription plus 12 months after cancellation, in case you come back or ask about a previous account
  • Support conversations: 24 months, so we can help you faster if you contact us again
  • Payment records: 6 years, as required by UK tax and accounting law
  • Streaming logs: 90 days, then automatically deleted

If you want your data deleted sooner, you can request that at any time (see Your rights below).

Your rights under UK and EU GDPR

You have full control over your personal data. As a Cine GB customer, you have the right to:

  • Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct any information that is out of date or wrong
  • Delete your account and personal data (subject to legal retention limits)
  • Restrict how we use your data
  • Object to certain types of processing
  • Port your data to another provider in a common format
  • Withdraw any consent you previously gave

To exercise any of these rights, message us on WhatsApp or email support@cinegb.com. We will respond within 30 days as required by law.

Our website uses a small number of essential cookies to keep the site running properly, remember your preferences, and give us anonymous analytics on how visitors use the pages. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising. If you want to reject non essential cookies, you can do so in your browser settings.

Data security

Your data is stored on servers protected by industry standard encryption, access controls, and 24 hour monitoring. Payment data is handled by PCI compliant providers. Support conversations are stored on secured WhatsApp Business infrastructure. We limit internal access to your data on a strict need to know basis.
